Air Blower
The Airpol Roots-type blower is used wherever high capacity is required at a low compression ratio. The unit can operate as a source of positive pressure up to 1 bar or as a vacuum pump with vacuum down to 0.6 bar, across a flow range of 60 to 9,800 m³/h.
The blower performs well in applications such as aeration systems in wastewater treatment plants, water treatment facilities, bulk material conveying, dust extraction systems, drying processes, vacuum packaging, gas recirculation, and the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
Roots-Type Operating Principle
The blower operates using two symmetrical, three-lobe rotors turning in opposite directions. One rotor is mounted on the drive shaft, which drives the other rotor through a timing gear. This keeps their operation synchronized and contact-free.
Stable Air Transport
As the shaft rotates, a defined volume of air is enclosed between the housing and the rotors and moves from the suction side to the discharge side. With one full shaft rotation, the blower transports six volumes of air.
Adapting to the System
The blower adjusts to the back pressure present in the receiving system. Volumetric flow changes only slightly with pressure fluctuations, and output remains proportional to rotor speed.

The blower can be used in wastewater treatment plants, water treatment facilities, bulk material conveying systems, dust extraction, drying, vacuum packaging, gas recirculation, and the transport and separation of granulates.
